Bad Design Has Its Worth

Before getting in the shower this morning, I was thinking about layouts and ads. If everyone knew what made a good ad, ads would no longer stick out, or have any sense of good design. The only ads that would stick out are bad designs. This made me realize that the reason good ads and layouts look good is because there's so much garbage. Therefore, if there was more garbage out there, good design would look even better.

Not that this really matters, but I thought I would post it anyway.
